چکیده

Transport of modern worldwide cities generates harmful emissions that accounts for nearly half of the total pollution in urban areas. Therefore local governments are forced to stimulate appearance of new fuels and technological innovations in urban mobility. Nevertheless there is a lack of methodological tools for supporting decision makers in spheres of motivation for using green vehicles by drivers and allocation available green capacity. This paper is devoted to the problem of green and nongreen traffic flow assignment on the network consisting of green and nongreen routes. The approach of defining green routes (green subnetwork) which are fully loaded and provide less travel time for green vehicles are developed. Conditions of well-balanced green subnetwork are obtained explicitly for the network of parallel routes.

Is Timetabling Routing Always Reliable for Public Transport?

Current route planning algorithms for public transport networks are mostly based on timetable information only, i.e., they compute shortest routes under the assumption that all transit vehicles (e.g., buses, subway trains) will incur in no delays throughout their trips. Unfortunately, unavoidable and unexpected delays often prevent transit vehicles to respect their originally planned schedule. ...

A Mathematical Programming for a Special Case of 2E-LRP in Cash-In-Transit Sector Having Rich Variants

In this article, we propose a special case of two-echelon location-routing problem (2E-LRP) in cash-in-transit (CIT) sector. To tackle this realistic problem and to make the model applicable, a rich LRP considering several existing real-life variants and characteristics named BO-2E-PCLRPSD-TW including different objective functions, multiple echelons, multiple periods, capacitated vehicles, dis...

A differential evolution algorithm to solve new green VRP model by optimizing fuel consumption considering traffic limitations for collection of expired products

The purpose of this research is to present a new mathematical modeling for a vehicle routing problem considering concurrently the criteria such as distance, weight, traffic considerations, time window limitation, and heterogeneous vehicles in the reverse logistics network for collection of expired products. In addition, we aim to present an efficient solution approach according to differential ...

Routing Improvement for Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) Using Nature Inspired Algorithms

are a subset of MANETs in which vehicles are considered as network clients. These networks have been created to communicate between vehicles and traffic control on the roads. have similar features to MANETs and their main special property is the high-speed node mobility which makes a quick change of the network. The rapid change of network topology is a major challenge in routing. One of the we...

Modeling of VANET Technology & Ad-Hoc Routing Protocols Based on High Performance Random Waypoint Models

Today, one of the new technologies in the modern era is Vehicular Ad-hoc Network which has takenenormous attention in the recent years. Because of rapid topology changing and frequent disconnectionmakes it difficult to design an efficient routing protocol for routing data between vehicles, called V2V orvehicle to vehicle communication and vehicle to roadside infrastructure, called V2I. Designin...
